Vice President of Development
The Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) seeks a full‐time Vice President of Development to lead all major fundraising in support of our mission. BRIT seeks a leader who will champion its philanthropic strategy and efforts to support the organization’s vision to become a nationally-recognized, top-tier plant research and education organization.
Successful candidates will possess an undergraduate degree at the minimum and have six plus years of progressively responsible experience in senior level fund development management, including broad based experience in fundraising with a demonstrated record of success in personally securing major gifts, foundation and corporate giving, and capital campaign execution. Candidates must also possess favorable experience leading and developing staff.
